Carry the Light workshop is one of the highlights of our ministry.  We love to have our church family equipped to be able to talk about their love of Jesus to people who don't know Him.  The challenge in our city is that most people don't come from a Christian perspective.  We live in an increasingly secular society.  In Toronto those who are "spiritual" aren't thinking that the Christian faith has anything to offer so they are looking to the mystics and new age genres.  Jari's gift is to be able to equip people to talk the language of the spiritual seekers.  Every time our people minister with Jari we see people come to a revelation that Jesus is the Son of God and their Saviour!

The Carry The Light workshop (CTL) is a very practical teaching that equips the believer for evangelism. Jari's ministry is foundational in nature which trains  individuals to listen to and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying and to simply (without pressure or human striving) convey that message to those who are hungry for spiritual things.  His approach is non-threatening and has the ability and wisdom to give the specific 'tools' and 'language' necessary to be able to fly in under the radar undetected in enemy territory.

What I have enjoyed the most about this ministry is that it is easy and very effective.

The ministry and teaching of Jari and his team takes those who are interested into the discovery of power evangelism with a prophetic edge. This is not worked up spiritual hype but the listening heart of simple lovers of Jesus. Jari Koivu is an innovative speaker who encourages the everyday Christian to step up their game and dare to go where Christians have held back in the past....the New Age Movement.  Jari trains and teaches individuals to go into this territory with love and power.  The training is practical and releases confidence into the participants.  It's an environment where an inexperienced believer in the gifts is encouraged in his faith as they realize how easy it is for the Spirit of God to flow through them.  It's an excellent training ground for any believer to grow because the environment lends itself to hungry people and a diverse society. Our church has participated in several Mind, Body and Soul fairs both in the South of Cyprus and the Turkish North of Cyprus and found that God moves the same regardless of culture.
